National Exam commonly abbreviated as UN / UNAS is a standard evaluation system of primary and secondary education nationally and equation quality of education levels among the areas that conducted by the Center for Educational Assessment, Ministry of National Education in Indonesia based on Law of the Republic of Indonesia number 20 of 2003 states that in order to control quality national educational evaluation as a form of accountability of education providers to the parties concerned. Determination of the ever-increasing standards expected to encourage the improvement of education quality, which is the determination of educational standards is the determination of the limit value (cut-off score). Someone said to have passed / are competent when it has passed the limit value in the form of the boundary between learners who have mastered certain competencies with students who have not mastered certain competencies. If it happens on a national exam or school then the boundary value serves to separate the learners who passed and did not pass the so-called boundary graduation, graduation delimitation of activities called the standard setting.
